Risk Manager

A specialist mortgage lender is hiring a Risk Manager to work closely with the Risk Director and support the risk framework.

The Role

You’ll help the business spot, track and report on risk, working with teams across the firm to deliver on strategic objectives. You’ll keep the risk framework and registers up to date, run regular risk reviews, report to committees and the Board, and support incident reviews and third-party oversight.

Requirements

• Risk experience within UK financial services
• Background in lending, ideally mortgages or retail banking
• Good understanding of risk frameworks
• Experience across enterprise or operational risk
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Clear communicator, comfortable presenting & challenging
