Job Description

Your Mission:

Join this Defence project providing Risk Expertise through a Joint Project Team delivering an infrastructure programme.

We’re seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk identification, analysis, and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Programme Delivery Lead , you’ll work across our clients site, and industry partners to manage risks in a complex, fast-paced environment.

You’ll need strong project delivery and risk management skills, with experience handling major infrastructure projects and navigating multiple stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the delivery of the risk management process , roadmap, and Target Operating Model (TOM)
Facilitate monthly risk reviews , workshops, and maintain risk registers & dashboards ð
Support Quantitative Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis (QCRA/QSRA) and quarterly reporting ð️
Manage project assumptions and maintain the Master Data & Assumptions List (MDAL) ð
Track mitigation plans and ensure risk actions are delivered ð
Collaborate with project leads, suppliers, and partners to manage risks, avoid duplication, and drive delivery
Monitor supply chain performance and flag emerging issues early ð
Ensure compliance with client processes and infrastructure requirements ð ️

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

️ SC Clearance held and available to work on client site 3 days/week ð¡️
️ Strong knowledge of risk processes and management
️ Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and see the bigger risk picture ð
️ Experience in infrastructure risk analysis
️ Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills ð
️ Proficient IT skills ð»

Desirable:

Industry knowledge, including competitors/adversaries
Confident communicator at executive level ð
Agile, adaptable, and responsive to change ð
Experience managing risk in complex, live operational environments
Collaborative team player across multi-agency teams
