Risk Manager

In this role you will lead UK Enterprise Risk Management for a global broker, ensuring effective risk identification, monitoring and reporting. You will own the risk framework, oversee outsourcing, and coordinate with the Global Risk team to meet evolving FCA requirements. The position sits in a high-profile, fast-paced environment requiring deep technical risk expertise and regulatory fluency. You will help shape the UK/EMEA risk posture and drive robust risk governance across the entity.

• Implement and oversee the UK Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERM)
• Own and maintain risk registers, RCSA processes, and risk reporting for the UK/EMEA
• Oversee UK Credit, Market and Counterparty Risk; lead ICAAP processes
• Provide Risk and Compliance Oversight across the UK entity
• Manage changes in FCA regulation and regulatory reporting
• Coordinate risk activities with the Global Risk Team and Outsourcing oversight
• Develop and report on the Risk Framework within UK and EMEA

• Minimum 5 years of second-line risk management experience in Financial Services (ideally sell side/brokerage)
• Strong experience in Market or Credit Risk
• Experience of ICAAP process
• Knowledge of Operational Risk & Resiliency Frameworks (risk taxonomies, RCSA, risk registers, event analysis)
• Professional or tertiary qualification in Risk, Compliance, Business or Finance
• STEM Degree
