Risk Product Owner

As Product Owner, you will lead risk-innovation initiatives within a growing payments fintech scale-up. You’ll steer performance management, service propositions, and the customer experience, collaborating across tech and leadership to deliver compliant, data-driven solutions. This role sits at the core of enabling scalable risk capabilities in a fast-moving environment backed by a major banking partner. You will shape the risk product strategy and drive tangible impact on processes and data flows. This is a hands-on role that blends domain expertise with strong delivery instincts to transform risk outcomes at scale.

• Lead risk-innovation efforts across performance management, service proposition, and user experience.
• Collaborate with developers and leadership to translate risk needs into deliverable features.
• Conduct current-system analyses and gap assessments to identify improvements.
• Document business data models and data flows to support risk initiatives.

• Experience as a Product Owner with Agile/Lean/continuous delivery practices
• In-depth knowledge of KYC, Financial Crime, RegTech
• Strong ability to communicate with developers and the leadership team
• Proven track record in current-system analysis, fitment/gap analysis, and data-model documentation
• Preferably financial services experience
