Job Description
You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.
The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.
Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

What You'll Do
The Risk Systems Specialist acts as both a technical GRC platform expert and a strategic problem solver, enabling Fidelity Canada's Technology Risk functions through the effective use of RSA Archer. This role applies structured analytical thinking, systems design, and consulting approaches to assess complex enterprise requirements, risk, and operational challenges, translating them into scalable, automated, and data-driven GRC solutions. The position plays a key role in modernizing risk management capabilities, improving decision-making through enhanced data insights, and strengthening regulatory compliance across the enterprise. The individual works cross-functionally to bridge business, risk, and technology domains, ensuring that Archer implementations drive measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, and control effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Problem Solving & GRC Transformation
Decompose complex risk, compliance, and operational challenges into structured problem statements and solution components
- Identify opportunities to digitize, standardize, and automate GRC processes using Archer
- Support the evolution of enterprise risk capabilities through platform enablement and optimization
Solution Architecture & Platform Engineering
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Archer solutions aligned to enterprise architecture principles
- Deliver core use cases (technology risk, data protection, information security, compliance, issues management and third-party risk)
- Configure workflows, calculations, and access frameworks
Business Analysis & Requirements Translation
- Conduct structured requirements gathering using consulting methodologies
- Translate business needs into solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps
- Challenge and refine stakeholder requirements to ensure value driven outcomes
Integration, Data Strategy, and Automation
- Design and implement data integration solutions across Archer and enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, cloud services, data repositories)
- Develop automated data feeds, APIs, and workflows to enable real-time risk insights
- Enhance data quality, lineage, and governance within GRC processes
Delivery Excellence and Lifecycle Management
- Lead or contribute to full SDLC activities of Archer including design, build, testing, deployment, and support
- Apply structured delivery practices (Agile/Waterfall hybrid) with clear milestones, risks, and deliverables
- Ensure adherence to change management and release governance processes
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to Information Security, Technology Risk, Compliance, and other key stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, solution walkthroughs, and executive-level discussions (as required)
- Provide recommendations on process improvements, tooling strategy, and GRC maturity
- Identify and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of Archer development/configuration experience required
- College degree (3-year program) required, or equivalent work experience
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale GRC solutions required
- Strong background in systems analysis and application development required
- Financial services experience preferred
- Experience with Archer SaaS and cloud integrations preferred
- Experience supporting regulatory or transformation initiatives
- RSA Archer Certified Professional (ACP) certification is an asset
