RPG Analyst Programmer with Misys Equation

Overview
In this role you will support and develop against the Misys Equation platform, focusing on RPG-based development and end-of-day processes. You will collaborate with in-house teams to translate business requirements into reliable solutions, while maintaining and enhancing Equation environments and related reports. You will provide multi-level support during the end-of-day cycle and contribute to system continuity and data processes. This is a hands-on, technically focused role with opportunities to impact operational reliability and reporting.
Responsibilities- Analyze issues related to Misys Equation end-of-day cycle and interfaces
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions based on system definitions
- Develop and maintain in-house RPG reports and Equation-based programs
- Maintain all in-house programs in the Equation environment
- Provide first to third line support for the Equation end-of-day cycle, including out-of-hours
- Own and resolve problems independently and in team settings, delivering timely solutions
- Support Swift environment during staff absence
- Support AML processes with daily fault finding and backups
- Contribute to ESSBASE maintenance and dimension changes in the database cube
- Fulfil business continuity requirements as per plans or management direction
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- SQL programming experience with RPG and CL
- Experience with C# is useful
