RQ1776574 – H&H Performance Analyst

Work Pattern: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week, 8:30am–4:30pm.

PAYE Pay Rate: £18.43 per hour

Main Purpose

Analyse housing and homelessness data to improve service performance. Develop reports, dashboards and data insights using systems such as Excel and Power BI, supporting managers and senior leaders with decision-making and service improvement.

Typical Day

• Analyse housing and homelessness performance data and trends.

• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Complete statutory government data returns.

• Monitor rental income and housing benefit recovery.

• Maintain accurate performance records and systems.

• Develop automated reporting to reduce manual work.

• Investigate and resolve data/system queries.

• Work with internal teams, ICT and external providers.

• Provide performance information and advice to managers.

• Support projects, reporting and service improvement.

Essential Experience

• Experience leading data analysis and performance insight.

• Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard creation.

• Experience with Excel and reporting systems.

• Experience implementing automation to improve reporting processes.

• Experience analysing data to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge or awareness of housing and homelessness legislation.
