Rubrick Backup Consultant

Rubrik Backup Consultant - SC Cleared / SC Eligible

• 6-Month Contract
• 600-650 per day - Inside IR35
• 1-2 days per week onsite - City of London
• Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance essential

We are looking for an experienced Rubrik Backup Consultant to join a large-scale enterprise transformation programme within a highly regulated financial services environment.

This is a hands-on consulting role focused on the design, architecture, deployment and migration of a Rubrik backup and recovery solution across a complex enterprise estate.

The successful consultant will need strong experience designing and delivering Rubrik environments from the ground up, rather than simply supporting an existing platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise Rubrik backup and recovery solutions
• Lead the configuration and deployment of Rubrik across complex infrastructure environments
• Assess existing backup environments and define future-state architecture
• Support migration planning and execution from legacy backup platforms
• Work closely with infrastructure, architecture and security teams
• Produce technical design documentation and implementation plans
• Configure backup policies, retention and recovery processes
• Troubleshoot complex backup, recovery and migration issues
• Provide technical guidance to customer stakeholders throughout delivery

Key Experience

• Strong hands-on Rubrik design and deployment experience
• Proven experience within enterprise backup and recovery environments
• Strong understanding of backup architecture, configuration and implementation
• Experience planning and delivering backup platform migrations
• Commvault to Rubrik migration experience highly desirable
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within complex, regulated enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder and customer-facing skills
• Previous consultancy or professional services experience desirable
• Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance essential
