Overview

As the RVP Forward Deployed Engineering, you lead a blended team of technical builders and deployment strategists to deliver agentic AI solutions for enterprise customers. You drive engineering excellence, set standards, and unblock complex deployments at scale. You operate at executive level, shaping product feedback into the Agentforce roadmap while cultivating a high-energy, inclusive engineering culture. This role centers on delivering production-ready AI systems and establishing strong client partnerships to accelerate business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate delivery teams and manage capacity, hiring, and staffing for enterprise deployments
  • Lead AI-augmented delivery using tools like Cursor, Claude, and Salesforce coding products (Vibes)
  • Influence product direction through pilot programs and beta rollouts with product and engineering
  • Scale elite talent through mentoring, career growth, and high-quality, production-ready delivery
  • Maintain operational velocity by monitoring delivery metrics and handling complex escalations
  • Serve as ultimate technical authority across AI, LLMs, data pipelines, and agentic orchestration
  • Guide enterprise implementations, ensuring data readiness, tool integration, and standardized delivery methods
  • Drive agentic adoption by building executive relationships and ensuring production value
  • Accelerate portfolio performance with engineering rigor and cross-functional alignment with Services, Account Success, and Product teams
  • Act as a builder lead with proven leadership, risk-taking, and hands-on shipping mindset
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of direct people management or high-impact technical leadership
  • Deep architectural understanding of AI, LLMs, and the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise software implementation, data modeling, API integration, and AI deployments
  • Direct, hands-on experience architecting or deploying Salesforce Data Cloud and the Agentforce platform
  • Strong executive-level communication and influence skills with high-touch enterprise customer focus
  • Ship-it mindset with ability to ship production-ready systems and unblock complex deployments
