Sales Operations Database Administrator

In this role you will maintain and improve data pipelines and databases that power sales analytics and BI across Fortinet. You will help expand AI-enabled capabilities by strengthening the data foundation used by LLM-powered tools. You’ll work with Python-based API jobs, SQL databases, and BI tooling like Tableau, ensuring scalable performance and clean data. You will collaborate with Sales and CRM teams to model and import datasets for efficient querying and reporting. This is a hands-on, curious role that shapes data infrastructure for a growing AI-driven organization.

• Maintain and enhance API-driven data jobs and Python-based processes
• Manage databases (SQL, Mongo, Postgres), ETL scripts, and performance tuning
• Ensure data quality and efficient queries for Tableau-based BI
• Proactively assess new tools and approaches to handle future workloads and AI needs
• Build and maintain data foundation powering AI/LLM-based tools across the organization
• Understand CRM concepts and sales data flows to enable sensible data imports

• Strong Python for data pipelines, APIs, and automation
• Advanced SQL with experience in RDBMS and data lakes
• Experience monitoring database capacity and performance
• Proven ETL design/maintenance feeding BI tools
• Database performance tuning and data hygiene practices
• Tableau data source ownership (not just reporting)
• CRM understanding and basic Salesforce experience a plus
• REST API integration with internal/third-party sources
