Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect with expertise in Commerce Cloud and Order Management
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, integration patterns, and security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with API design, data modelling, and system integrations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and influence decision-making at senior levels
  • Desirable: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent advanced certifications
  • Desirable: Experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce environments
  • Desirable: Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Design and govern the architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Order Management solutions, ensuring alignment with our enterprise standards
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
  • Lead technical design sessions and provide guidance to development teams on best practices and integration patterns
  • Define and maintain architectural documentation, including data models, integration diagrams, and security frameworks
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features and third-party tools to recommend enhancements that drive business value
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and performance standards across all Salesforce implementations

As a Salesforce Architect, you will join our Digital and Technology team, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and solution designers to deliver cutting-edge Salesforce solutions. Your role will focus on architecting and optimising Commerce Cloud and Order Management capabilities to support Heathrows retail and service operations. You will help define technical standards, ensure best practices, and guide the design of integrated solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
