Permanent, full-time Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect role owning the technical direction of a newly launched storefront and its integrations.
- Architect-level, full-stack SFCC role with a heavy backend focus.

What & Why
Our client is seeking an SFCC Architect to own the technical direction of their storefront and its integrations, designing, building, and maintaining scalable custom features while safeguarding performance, security, and long-term maintainability. The site has recently launched as part of a broader Salesforce transformation, and there is meaningful build, optimization, and enhancement work ahead. The ideal candidate thinks critically about business requirements, challenges assumptions, and asks "why are we approaching it this way?" You'll make and defend architecture and design decisions based on best practices, assess code quality and set the standard for the team, and explain technical constraints clearly while negotiating trade-offs with business stakeholders.

They are in the middle of a broader Salesforce transformation, having recently launched a major e-commerce site, and are investing in the platform for the long term. You'll work closely with a senior Salesforce manager, senior leadership, and a team of Salesforce developers.
You
You’ll bring the following experience and capabilities:
- 5+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience (SFRA required) with demonstrated architect-level scope.
- Strong backend development experience (full-stack capability required).
- Experience building and managing integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, tax systems, OMS, and loyalty platforms.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
