Salesforce Developer

Our client, a well-established organisation based in the North West, are seeking experienced and certified Salesforce Developers to join their growing Salesforce team. This is a predominantly remote role with occasional travel to the office for team collaboration, planning sessions, and key stakeholder meetings.

This position offers the opportunity to work across a mature Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, delivering innovative solutions that support business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Build and maintain custom developments using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Enhance and support Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud functionality.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practice development standards are followed.
• Support platform enhancements, releases, and ongoing optimisation initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Apex
• Visualforce
• SOQL/SOSL
• Salesforce APIs and integrations
• Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience working with:
• Service Cloud
• Marketing Cloud
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Essential Certifications

Applicants must hold a current Salesforce certification, including:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I (essential)

Additional certifications would be highly advantageous, including:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II
• Salesforce Advanced Administrator
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications
• Salesforce App Builder
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Informatica and associated data integration technologies.
• Exposure to Salesforce DevOps and release management tools.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
