About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Systems Owner to join our client's team in Yeovil on a hybrid basis. This pivotal role involves taking ownership of the company's global commercial systems environment, with a primary focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing Salesforce in-house from a third-party consultancy, ensuring seamless integration, configuration, and ongoing support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and IT to optimize the CRM ecosystem and automate workflows, thereby enhancing overall business efficiency.

The role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of digital transformation within a dynamic procurement organization. You will act as the go-to expert for Salesforce, leading administration, development, and research & development initiatives. Your insights will directly influence how the organization leverages technology to achieve strategic goals, improve data quality, and explore AI-enabled solutions that support commercial excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud administration and configuration
• Hands-on experience working in an in-house environment, not just consultancy roles
• Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing and sales automation tools
• Interest in AI and exploring how emerging technologies can support business processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Knowledge of data protection, security standards, and best practices in CRM management

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to meet evolving business needs
• Manage and support integrations between Salesforce, HubSpot, and other commercial applications
• Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions to enhance productivity, data quality, and commercial execution
• Maintain and optimize CRM systems to ensure they align with business objectives
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze requirements and develop system enhancements
• Oversee system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve CRM-related problems promptly
• Develop comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and support procedures
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement best practices
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
• Stay informed about the latest CRM technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
