Overview

As Salesforce Platform Architect, you will define and lead the target-state architecture for a global Salesforce ecosystem supporting client-facing functions in Asset Management. You’ll ensure scalability, security, and performance while aligning with enterprise standards and enabling business growth. You work with cross-functional teams to shape architectural direction, governance, and technology roadmaps. This role offers influence over integrations, data and security practices, and the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, within a fast-moving financial services context.

Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the Salesforce platform architecture across multiple business areas
  • Define architecture standards, design principles, and governance frameworks
  • Lead solution design for complex initiatives with architectural direction and roadmaps
  • Drive integration architecture across Salesforce, APIs, MuleSoft, and data platforms
  • Ensure platform integrity including data architecture, security, scalability, release management, and debt
  • Champion DevOps and CI/CD with automated testing and deployment strategies
  • Evaluate and implement AI capabilities such as Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce
  • Provide architectural oversight to engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture to align with wider technology strategies
  • Mentor technical teams and promote architectural excellence
Key requirements
  • Extensive Salesforce architecture experience in large, global financial services organizations
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, security, governance, and platform best practices
  • Hands-on experience with integration technologies (APIs, event-driven architecture, MuleSoft)
  • Experience defining DevOps/CI-CD strategies using Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git
  • Strong stakeholder management to influence senior leaders
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience producing architecture documentation and design artefacts
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services
