In this role you will serve as the Salesforce strategy and architecture expert for retail/manufacturing clients, shaping transformative Salesforce solutions. You’ll align platform capabilities with business goals, collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will lead design, governance, and risk management to deliver measurable ROI across omnichannel marketing and customer engagement. You will work closely with enterprise architects and marketing leaders to drive digital transformation and customer loyalty. This is an influential, client-facing position with a strong impact on technology strategy and delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advisory on Salesforce capabilities, architecture patterns, and best practices
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions leveraging Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Loyalty Management, Data 360, Sales Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud
  • Lead architecture alignment across multiple workstreams and oversee technical direction for major implementations
  • Identify and mitigate risks, technical debt, and design assumptions with business impact assessment
  • Engage with executive teams, project managers, and technical leads to drive outcomes
  • Develop compelling pre-sales proposals including target architectures, security strategies, integration approaches, and roadmaps
  • Mentor diverse teams on technical excellence and executive communication
  • Contribute to internal thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and strategic asset development
Key requirements
  • 15+ years of consulting/architecture experience with leadership in digital transformations in Retail/Manufacturing
  • Deep Salesforce expertise across Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Loyalty Management, Data 360, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud
  • Ability to recommend approaches, patterns, and design trade-offs
  • Experience reviewing design artefacts for completeness and compliance
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications; architecture certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect) desirable
  • Knowledge of integration patterns (APIs, Platform Events); MuleSoft, Azure experience desirable
  • Security, governance, and GDPR/data residency awareness; ability to design secure enterprise solutions
  • Hands-on Salesforce platform implementation experience; Agile, Scrum, Waterfall familiarity
  • Strong stakeholder management and senior-level communication skills
