Salesforce Technical Lead

Salary: £38,000 - 74,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong entrepreneurial and teamwork skills, with communication and problem-solving ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
• Strong hands-on development experience with LWC, Apex, including triggers, asynchronous processing, and integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and branching models.
• Awareness of Salesforce security principles and secure-by-design implementation, including data protection and access control.
• Ability to coach and develop engineering capability within the Salesforce team and contribute to a community of practice.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership where Salesforce is integrated with multiple legacy systems and resolve integration challenges.
• Strong experience working and leading within an agile development methodology.
• Ability to customise and optimise the user experience, manage profiles, permissions, and sharing models.
• Experience in industry clouds such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Social Housing, or Retail is highly desirable.
• Experience or certifications with Experience Cloud, FSL, Agentforce, Data 360, or middleware are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using agile and DevOps practices for delivery or demo solutions.
• We develop robust, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce configuration.
• We build, configure, and support routes to production through automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• We ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned to platform and regulatory best practices.
• We improve the reliability, quality, and maintainability of Salesforce-based solutions across our clients enterprise.
• We support Technical Architects in embedding best practice within our assigned team and across the wider engineering and Salesforce communities of practice.
• We produce detailed technical designs, build working demos and prototypes, and support solution validation throughout delivery.
• We monitor and troubleshoot Salesforce environments, implementing proactive issue resolution.
• We provide technical leadership across dependencies where Salesforce is integrated with multiple legacy systems.
