Overview

As a hands-on Salesforce Technical Lead in our UKI practice, you will shape and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across the full software lifecycle for public sector clients. You’ll lead engineering efforts, mentor junior developers, and ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality delivery within agile governance. You’ll partner with architects, delivery leads, and product teams to translate requirements into design and drive delivery forecasts and risk management. This role combines technical execution with strategic leadership to elevate our public sector capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design and build of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned to standards
  • Provide technical leadership and guide solution implementation approaches
  • Own accurate estimation and management of dependencies and risks
  • Maintain clear communication with delivery leads, PO, and stakeholders with progress and risk updates
  • Drive quality-first engineering culture; ensure testable, maintainable, production-ready solutions
  • Contribute to peer reviews and continuous improvement of development practices
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, design workshops, and planning sessions
Key requirements
  • 7+ years Salesforce platform experience
  • Proven experience leading technical delivery on enterprise Salesforce programmes
  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, integration architecture, and data modelling
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development patterns and governor limits
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based workflows)
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, data platforms, or external systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Desirable: Salesforce Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer/Consultant, Application Architect
  • Note: NPPV3 clearance requirement and willingness to obtain SC clearance
