Overview

In this Salesforce Technical Lead role, you will steer the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of a strategic Salesforce platform within a leading asset management environment. You will blend hands-on engineering with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive enterprise-scale Salesforce initiatives. The role emphasizes leveraging emerging capabilities such as Data Cloud, AI, and Agentforce to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into impactful technical outcomes, shaping the next generation of Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, delivery, and evolution of an enterprise Salesforce platform
  • Manage and mentor Salesforce development teams across complex programmes
  • Oversee architecture, security, data modelling, and best practices within Salesforce
  • Drive CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools like Git, Copado, Gearset
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Explore and leverage Data Cloud and Agentforce capabilities in delivery
  • Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape strategy
  • Support integration with external systems via APIs
Key requirements
  • Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams and delivering complex programmes
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Visualforce, and API integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, data models, and best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar tools
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions
  • Exposure to Data Cloud and Agentforce is highly desirable
