Salesforce Technical Lead (Senior Consultant)

In this Salesforce Technical Lead role, you will actively design, build and deliver Salesforce solutions as part of BearingPoint’s growing UK practice. You’ll lead cross‑functional delivery teams, champion best practices, and own technical design and demos from development through deployment. This position focuses on scalable, secure Salesforce implementations, including integrations and DevOps‑driven delivery, contributing to the wider Salesforce community of practice. You’ll work closely with Technical Architects to advance architectural capability while shaping high‑quality outcomes for clients. • Design, build, test, deploy and support Salesforce solutions using agile and DevOps practices
• Develop robust, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows and Salesforce configuration
• Build, configure and support automated production routes through Salesforce CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure solutions are secure, performant and aligned to platform and regulatory best practices
• Improve reliability, quality and maintainability of Salesforce solutions across client environments
• Support Technical Architects in embedding best practices within the team and broader communities of practice
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration to deliver customer‑focused outcomes
• Ensure adherence to standards, frameworks, architectural patterns, and ways of working; contribute to updating standards with the CoE
• Provide technical leadership across integrations with legacy systems and drive technical strategy

• Strong hands-on development experience with LWC, Apex (including triggers) and integrations
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Git‑based version control and branching models
• Security best practices: secure‑by‑design, data protection, access control
• Continuous learning and capability development within the Salesforce team
• Ability to lead dependencies where Salesforce integrates with multiple legacy systems
• Monitoring and troubleshooting across Salesforce environments
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Ability to customize and optimize user experience; manage profiles, permissions, and sharing
• Desirable: experience in Industry clouds (Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, etc.) and with Experience Cloud, FSL, Agentforce, Data 360 or middleware
