An SAP RAP ABAP developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP Fiori-ready applications and OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

Your responsibilities:

  • Transform traditional ABAP programs in legacy SAP system into S/4 HANA architecture.
  • Design and implement CDS and AMDP based on business requirement.
  • Adobe forms development in S/4 HANA (Online and Offline scenarios).
  • Compile Technical Specification document for all the developments
  • End to end unit testing of all applications
  • Ability to work with business users in day-to-day operations support

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience in creating and extending RAP BOs with both Managed and Unmanaged scenarios
  • Experience in creating at least 2 level drill down custom application with at least one parent child relationship
  • Must have experience in API calling and handling deep structures in API calls
  • Strong hands‑on development experience in OOPS ABAP.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience New ABAP syntaxes, Adobe forms, AMDP, CDS, ALV. BADI & BAPI.
  • Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots.
  • Good understanding of SAP’s clean core architecture and approach
  • Sound knowledge in performance optimization and SAP best practices in ABAP area

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: (As applicable)

  • Experience/knowledge in Professional Services development
  • SAP Build Knowledge
  • Developing experience with SAP BTP
  • Work experience in S4 HANA Public Cloud
