SAP Accounting Implementation Accountant

SAP accounting and advanced Excel support this Accountant role at Echelon Insurance, focused on accurate reporting and implementation work.

As an Accountant, you will assist with financial statements, closing, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and audits. The position supports SAP implementation across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable modules. You will also contribute to controls, automation testing, forecasting, budgeting, and business process mapping into SAP functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze entity variances for financial statement completeness
• Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and regulatory reporting
• Support audits with working papers and variance explanations
• Assist SAP accounting module implementation and process testing

Requirements:

• Accounting or business-related university degree or college diploma
• Two or more years’ similar experience preferred
• SAP implementation experience and process mapping required
• Advanced Excel knowledge and SAP accounting familiarity preferred
• CPA pursuit and P&C insurance experience preferred
