Overview

In this role you drive SAP Business ByDesign implementations, blending technical configuration with strategic consulting to support clients. You’ll lead implementation efforts, troubleshoot complex scenarios, and guide consultants toward successful project outcomes. The role emphasizes client-focused delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning within a global SAP practice renowned for ByDesign and S/4HANA expertise. You help shape solutions in supply chain and project accounting, driving value for customers across deployments.

Responsibilities
  • Support client implementation projects by troubleshooting and advising on challenging scenarios; step in as lead consultant for distressed projects
  • Configure, test, implement, and maintain SAP Business ByDesign systems; author solution designs and technical requirements documents
  • Manage workloads and project timelines, assist in planning resources, and provide timely responses to client queries
  • Provide training, create analytical reports, and maintain comprehensive client documentation
  • Act as lead consultant in Supply Chain and project accounting processes; ensure quality of developments and sign-off before UAT
  • Mentor team members and assist in QA of SAP ByDesign practice outputs
  • Map customer requirements to SAP ByDesign solutions and analyze requirements for effective implementation
  • Prepare and deliver customer-facing documentation and training; improve system performance through problem-solving
  • Collaborate with presales, project managers, and team leads; support tickets through resolution when needed
Key requirements
  • Proficiency in SAP Business ByDesign configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation with emphasis on Supply Chain
  • Strong consultancy skills and ability to advise clients with a Cloud Mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for workshops and mentoring
  • Problem-solving ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
  • Experience in project management and coordinating with diverse teams
  • Documentation skills for solution designs and technical requirements
  • Commitment to high client satisfaction and responsive support
  • Willingness to stay updated with SAP developments and pursue relevant certifications
