As a remote SAP HCM Payroll Consultant, you will support a major programme with a focus on UK and Canadian payroll. You will leverage strong SAP HCM expertise across project lifecycles and live support to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance. You will work with cross-functional teams to configure, test, and implement payroll solutions while addressing tax legislation and statutory requirements. This role offers exposure to cross-border payroll delivery and a chance to shape/payroll best practices in a large, programme-driven environment. You will engage directly with stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant payroll services and improvements.
Responsibilities- Configure and support SAP HCM Core Payroll end-to-end, including year-end processing
- Develop and maintain payroll PCRs and Schemas
- Manage UK payroll legislation, statutory payments and deductions
- Handle Canadian federal and provincial tax rules, reporting, and compliance
- Integrate with third-party payroll interfaces and data feeds
- Provide hands-on payroll processing, troubleshooting, and live support in SAP HCM environments
- Work with SAP ECC, S/4HANA HCM and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate status independently
- Strong SAP HCM Core Payroll configuration and support
- UK & Canadian payroll experience
- End-to-end payroll processing and year-end exercises
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and Canadian tax rules
- Expertise in writing Payroll PCRs and Schemas
- SAP HCM PA and Time Management
- Experience with third-party payroll interfaces/integrations
- Exposure to SAP ECC, S/4HANA HCM or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
- ABAP, Workflow, BASIS, Security and Integration knowledge
