SAP FICO R2R Test Lead

Location: Calgary, Canada | Onsite

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO Record-to-Report (R2R) testing across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution schedules aligned with business and SAP requirements.
• Lead SIT, UAT, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and system changes.
• Coordinate with Finance business SMEs, SAP functional teams, technical teams, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure complete R2R process validation.
• Validate key R2R processes including journal entries, period/year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, allocations, and financial postings .
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle , including defect logging, triage, prioritization, root-cause analysis, retesting, regression validation, and closure.
• Validate integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP/non-SAP modules , including MM, SD, HCM, Treasury, Tax, and external financial systems.
• Ensure test data, master data, configuration, workflows, authorizations, interfaces, and business scenarios are properly prepared and validated.
• Track test execution, defect trends, risks, dependencies, and testing KPIs, providing regular status reports and escalation to project leadership.
