SAP Finance Specialist (Digital Technology)

In this role you will support the Finance & Manufacturing functions by resolving SAP issues and ensuring accurate monthly processing. You will act as the SAP subject matter expert across Finance, Manufacturing and IT, driving system changes to align with business needs. You’ll lead SAP and SAP BW activities, provide user training, and maintain processes that safeguard compliance and service quality. • Review and resolve SAP transactions with business teams
• Manage SAP financial calendars and schedules
• Provide training to users on business processes
• Identify and implement system changes to improve processes
• Serve as SAP/BI knowledge lead across Finance, Manufacturing, SCM
• First line support for business users on SAP issues
• Analyze GPD (Pegging, Distribution) reports and suggest corrective actions
• Explain cost movements and respond to GPD questions
• Define transaction processes and collaborate with IT on changes
• Lead incident/problem/change management for service delivery
• Maintain documentation and support procedures
• Ensure IS governance and security compliance
• Support SLAs and service quality
• Coordinate with IT technical experts on defects and changes
• Plan work with Head of ERP Services to ensure operational integrity

• Proven experience in developing and implementing SAP R/3 ERP
• Recognised financial qualifications
• Experience analyzing GPD issues in aerospace/defence
• Strong experience with SAP ERP/MRP focused on product cost management
• Functional expertise in SAP R/3 FI/CO/PS with integration to SAP PP/MM/SD
• SAP experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments
• Understanding of IT systems disciplines (requirements, config, change control)
• Ability to lead business-centric requirements discussions to technical designs
• Experience delivering high-demand/mission-critical systems 24x7
• Knowledge of Service Management lifecycles in IT services or high-tech environments
• Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication, able to collaborate in virtual teams
• Desirable: SC cleared or eligible; experience with data warehousing and other transactional/reporting systems
