Overview

As a SAP PI/BTP Integration Suite developer, you will design, develop and support integration solutions across internal systems. You will collaborate with the Group Information Systems team and cross-functional partners to turn business requirements into reliable integrations. You will plan and execute testing, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations to standards. You will stay current with relevant technology and apply it to improve services. This role offers the chance to shape how our systems connect and drive IT service improvements in a hybrid Hatfield environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and implement integration solutions across internal systems
  • Plan, develop and execute testing to ensure quality delivery
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve post-implementation issues
  • Document work clearly according to standards
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand requirements and support service improvements
  • Coordinate and implement system configuration changes
  • Share improvement requests with development teams
  • Prepare progress updates and work with project managers and team leaders
  • Keep up to date with technical information and apply it where needed
Key requirements
  • Experience developing integrations across A2A and B2B environments
  • Strong knowledge of XML and JSON formats
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., ABAP, VB, C++, PowerShell, Groovy, XSLT, XQuery or SQL)
  • Experience with middleware applications and integration methods
  • Knowledge of SAP PI, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP BTP Services or API Management
  • Understanding of software development principles and methodologies
  • Experience planning and executing tests for programme components
  • Ability to document system configuration requirements clearly and accurately
  • Good understanding of business processes, ideally in procurement or ITIL management
  • Strong English proficiency
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
