Overview
As SAP Principal Consultant – PM, you will drive SAP PM capabilities within the IT team to enable reliable asset management and regulatory compliance. You’ll translate business needs into functional and technical specs, lead changes, and coordinate delivery with offshore teams and business users. You will ensure solutions align with UK regulations and SAP landscapes, acting as a trusted advisor to Operations leadership. This role offers the chance to shape PM processes and integrations at scale in a mission-driven utility.

Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Lead change requests from inception to delivery
- Support configuration, testing, and delivery in S/4HANA with offshore AMS
- Ensure changes align with UK regulations and SAP landscape
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and coordination
- Support project delivery from design to go-live
- Provide technical expertise across SAP PM applications
- Act as liaison between business, technical teams, and offshore providers
Key requirements
- Core SAP & PM expertise (experience with FMS/MRS integration desirable)
- Proven delivery of robust integrations across PM and third-party cloud systems
- Strong coordination and communication skills with proficient slide/document/spreadsheet abilities
- Formal qualifications including SAP PM
- 10–15+ years of SAP PM experience
- Data & reporting capabilities; data governance and GDPR awareness
