SAP Security Business Analyst

Apply SAP security expertise and business analysis skills with Alberta Public Service in Edmonton or remotely across Alberta. Support secure enterprise transformation.

As a SAP Security Analyst, you will support 1GX/ERA production and non-production environments. You will translate business requirements into security solutions across GRC, HCM/Payroll, Finance, LMS, and SCM. The work emphasizes ERP security, access management, stakeholder collaboration, and risk-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SAP security policies, standards, roles, and access practices
• Translate business requirements into practical security solutions
• Support Security Threat and Risk Assessments throughout system lifecycles
• Resolve escalated access issues across production and non-production environments
• Collaborate with IT, integrators, providers, and business partners

Requirements:

• University graduation in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related field
• At least two years of progressively responsible related experience
• Experience with SAP user management, provisioning, risk monitoring, and role development
• Experience with SAP Governance, Risk and Controls
• Strong organizational, facilitation, negotiation, and critical-thinking skills
