Overview

In this role you will own and optimise the SAP ECC6 landscape, acting as the technical and functional lead for the Linux-based SAP environment. You will coordinate SAP support, governance, and security across ERP platforms, partnering with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams. You’ll drive improvements, manage upgrades and integrations, and ensure compliance and continuity for business systems. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at a high-security organisation with meaningful impact on mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Linux-based SAP ECC6 environment technically and functionally
  • Provide SAP support including incident management, root cause analysis, and system improvements
  • Guide SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and other areas
  • Ensure SAP platforms meet business, security, and compliance requirements
  • Oversee ERP platforms and align with business processes
  • Support integrations between SAP and other systems
  • Participate in ERP-related projects: upgrades, enhancements, system integrations
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage change
  • Maintain documentation and support procedures to promote knowledge sharing
  • Manage relationships with SAP partners, support providers, and ERP vendors
  • Coordinate external consultants/partners as needed
  • Maintain SOX compliance, SAP security roles, access controls and governance
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for ERP systems
