Overview

In this role you will lead and shape SAP integration initiatives, combining deep SAP expertise with a drive for automation and AI-powered delivery. You’ll partner with SAP delivery teams to design scalable, value-driven solutions that accelerate the integration lifecycle. The role focuses on improving quality, speed, and efficiency through modern tooling, automation, and governance. You’ll steer POCs, establish standards, and advocate for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, innovation-first environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership across SAP integration projects and initiatives
  • Design, prototype, and implement automation solutions to improve delivery
  • Identify opportunities to streamline SAP development, integration, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with SAP delivery teams to ensure practical and scalable solutions with measurable value
  • Lead technical proof-of-concepts and rapid innovation initiatives to evaluate new tools and ways of working
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development, automation, and modern engineering practices
  • Define and measure KPIs to demonstrate improvements in delivery speed, quality, and efficiency
  • Produce technical recommendations and business cases to support wider adoption of successful solutions
  • Support the creation of standards, tooling, and best practices for SAP integration delivery
  • Shape and deliver improvements across SAP API enablement, documentation automation, integration development acceleration, automated testing, and AI-assisted engineering
Key requirements
  • Proven experience as Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Technical Engineer in SAP environments
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies, APIs, middleware, and ABAP development
  • Experience designing and implementing automation, tooling, or CI/CD solutions
  • Knowledge of modern integration architectures and API-led delivery approaches
  • Experience driving technical improvements through POCs, pilots, or innovation initiatives
  • Ability to assess technical challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver practical solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
