SAP Analytics Cloud Technical Lead – £885 Per Day – 3 Month Contract – London - Financial Services

We are currently partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Technical Lead to lead the design, build and delivery of enterprise planning and analytics solutions.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership position requiring deep SAP Analytics Cloud Planning expertise, with responsibility for translating complex Finance and FP&A requirements into scalable SAC solutions.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and delivery of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions
• Design and develop complex SAC Planning models, applications, dashboards and reporting solutions
• Extensive configuration of Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, Multi Actions, Allocations and business rules
• Deliver planning solutions across Forecasting, Budgeting, Workforce Planning, Cost Planning, CAPEX and Project Planning
• Define scalable SAC architecture, technical standards and development approaches
• Produce detailed technical designs aligned with business and FP&A requirements
• Design SAC integrations with SAP BW and wider enterprise data platforms
• Configure both live connectivity and import‑based data integrations
• Develop end‑to‑end planning data flows, transformations and data acquisition processes
• Lead SAC Proof of Concept activities, including models, dashboards, stories and demonstrations
• Facilitate technical workshops and design sessions with Finance, FP&A, Data and Technology stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, knowledge transfer and mentoring throughout delivery

Experience Required:

• Deep experience with Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, Multi Actions and Allocations
• Strong SAC modelling experience including dimensions, hierarchies, calculations and planning models
• Experience delivering enterprise Forecasting, Budgeting, Workforce, Cost, CAPEX and Project Planning solutions
• Strong understanding of SAC performance optimisation and development best practices
• Proven experience integrating SAC with SAP BW and other enterprise data sources
• Experience across both live and import‑based SAC connectivity
• Strong understanding of Finance and FP&A planning requirements
• Previous experience leading SAC technical workstreams and end‑to‑end implementations
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Finance Transformation or FP&A Transformation programmes
• Consulting or client‑facing delivery experience
