SAP Tricentis Automation Architect

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced SAP Tricentis Automation Architect to lead the test automation strategy for a large-scale SAP transformation from SAP ECC (on-premise) to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The successful candidate will serve as the technical lead for automation architecture, guiding offshore automation teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders throughout the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall test automation architecture and strategy using Tricentis.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for SAP transformation projects.
• Support the conversion and automation of thousands of SAP test scripts.
• Create architecture documentation, test automation strategies, and design artifacts.
• Provide technical leadership to offshore automation resources.
• Collaborate with the client, implementation partners, and QA leadership teams.
• Deliver regular progress reporting and project updates.
• Support smoke testing, regression testing, data reconciliation testing, and potentially performance testing initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

• Recent hands-on experience implementing SAP Enterprise Testing by Tricentis (Tosca).
• Experience leading or architecting Tricentis automation implementations.
• SAP project experience, preferably within SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformations.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Experience with: Tricentis/Tosca qTest Jira
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups, including clients, system integrators, and offshore teams.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation programs.
• SAP functional knowledge across areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, or HR.
• Performance testing experience (e.g., NeoLoad or similar tools).
• Experience within rail, transportation, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
