SAS Python Data Engineer

Build scalable customer data pipelines with SAS, Python, and SQL at Adastra in a hybrid role across Canada. Modernize platforms supporting analytics and marketing.

As a SAS/Python Developer, you will develop trusted data assets for customer analytics, personalization, marketing, risk, and regulatory initiatives. Your work spans Base SAS, Macros, PROC SQL, pandas, PySpark, and enterprise data warehouses. You will transform customer data, migrate legacy processes, and support reliable Customer 360 datasets across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across enterprise data sources
• Develop SAS programs for data marts and campaign selection
• Build Python processing solutions using pandas, PySpark, and SQL
• Migrate SAS processes to Python and Spark
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, and lineage controls

Requirements:

• Three-plus years of SAS development experience
• Two-plus years of Python development with pandas and SQL
• Experience with PySpark or distributed processing frameworks
• Strong SQL and enterprise data warehouse experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
