SAS Python Data Engineer

Build scalable customer data pipelines with SAS, Python, and SQL for Adastra across Canada in a hybrid, two-days-onsite model. Modernize enterprise data platforms supporting analytics and personalization.

As a SAS/Python Developer on Adastra’s Data Engineering team, you will develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple enterprise sources. You will use Base SAS, Macros, PROC SQL, pandas, PySpark, and SQL to transform customer data. The work supports customer analytics, marketing, risk, regulatory initiatives, and trusted Customer 360 assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT customer data pipelines
• Develop SAS programs for data marts and segmentation
• Build Python processing and automation solutions
• Migrate SAS processes to Python and Spark
• Implement data quality, privacy, and lineage controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
• Three-plus years of SAS development experience
• Two-plus years of Python development with pandas and SQL
• Experience with PySpark or distributed processing frameworks
• Strong SQL and enterprise data warehouse experience
