Overview

In this Technical Business Analyst role, you translate client needs into effective digital solutions within public sector and security-focused projects. You will bridge business and technical teams, shaping requirements, user journeys, and wireframes, while supporting design and development work. The role offers autonomy and flexible working arrangements across UK offices and on-site, with opportunities to lead agile delivery and, if needed, act as Scrum Master or Product Owner. You will contribute to complex programmes delivering for Central Government customers and security-cleared contexts.

Responsibilities
  • Elicit, capture, analyse, refine and document client requirements
  • Represent customer to delivery teams and translate technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support architects, designers and developers in defining technical solutions
  • Collaborate with UX and IA to define customer journeys and wireframes/prototypes
  • Assist with estimation of timescales, resources and project planning
  • Act as Scrum Master, Product Owner and/or Agile Coach if required
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage change and ensure alignment with government projects
  • Contribute to process improvements and business process modelling
  • Utilise tools to manage requirements and track progress (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
Key requirements
  • Experience as a Business Analyst on complex digital projects
  • Eligible for mid-level UK Security Vetting or holds clearance
  • Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
  • Ability to work across business and technical teams in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of UX integration, journey mapping and wireframing
  • Experience with estimation and planning in project delivery
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and BD/BA practices
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
  • Relevant qualifications in BA or related field
