About the Role

This role combines hands-on schedule alignment work with management of the Schedule Integration Specialist team. You'll align customer construction schedules with the Buildots Digital Twin while managing and developing a small team involving owning quality, allocating work and acting as the escalation point for complex issues.

It's an ideal role for construction professionals looking to move into technology and management while applying their construction expertise. Expect roughly a 50/50 split between management and hands-on schedule work, varying with business needs. The practical side of the role is essential; full training is provided.

As a Schedule Integration Specialist & Team Lead you will:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer construction schedules as part of Digital Twin design
  • Align schedule activities to the construction activities Buildots tracks
  • Work on a wide variety of project types worldwide
  • Provide ongoing project maintenance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team of Schedule Integration Specialists, including regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
  • Own delivery quality across the team's portfolio through regular reviews and constructive feedback
  • Act as the escalation point for complex scheduling, technical, or client issues.
  • Hire, onboard and train new team members including building training materials and playbooks
  • Partner with internal teams to represent the team's needs and surface recurring client pain points
  • Report team performance metrics and KPIs to leadership

Requirements

  • 4+ years of operational experience in the building construction industry
  • 2+ years of people management experience, including KPI reporting
  • Practical experience with construction schedules and the fit out work sequences
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Requirements

  • Tech savvy, proficient in computer applications, MS Office, G Suite and AI tools
  • Familiarity with planning software including MS Project, P6, Powerproject
