Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master at Barclays, you enable high-performing Agile teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and the business. You foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement, removing impediments and guiding teams through Scrum ceremonies. You bridge teams with stakeholders to build trust and ensure value is delivered each iteration. This role focuses on improving delivery flow, governance, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

• Facilitate Scrum events to be productive and timeboxed
• Support iteration execution and backlog refinement to maximize customer value
• Optimize team flow by identifying blockers and making work visible
• Identify and escalate risks to shield the squad from interruptions
• Foster high-performing teams and encourage stakeholder collaboration
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and build trust with business, product teams, and vendors
• Ensure data quality and representation in governance forums

• Scrum Master certification (preferably SaFe)
• Working knowledge of SaFe Agile
• Working knowledge of Jira
