SCRUM MASTER L2

In this role, you facilitate a Scrum team to meet sprint goals while removing impediments and safeguarding the team from external disruption. You partner with the Product Owner to refine backlog, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure Agile processes are applied correctly. You drive Scrum ceremonies, metrics, and continuous improvement, enabling cross-functional collaboration and stable velocity. This position contributes to Wipro’s digital transformation capabilities by shaping high-performing, self-managed teams.

• Meet sprint objectives with the team
• Ensure sprint commitments are achieved
• Own and resolve team impediments
• Support PO in adopting Scrum and backlog maintenance
• Facilitate estimation, backlog refinement, and planning ceremonies
• Ensure DOR, DOD, acceptance criteria are defined and followed
• Maintain MoSCoW discipline for Sprint Backlog
• Protect the team from external interference
• Facilitate technical guidance and clear team communication
• Participate in Scrum of Scrums and highlight impediments
• Provide performance feedback to Agile Line manager/Program Leader
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure proper adoption
• Update Scrum artifacts and ALM tool daily
• Record and monitor Scrum metrics and take corrective actions
• Create competency improvement and cross-skilling plan; target 50% multiskilling
• Help team achieve stable velocity within 6–8 sprints
• Train team on Agile practices (Scrum/XP/Kanban)
• Promote engineering practices (ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, Refactoring)
• Document retrospection actions and follow up
• Participate in communities of practice and quality forums
