Overview

In this role you will design, implement and maintain automated and exploratory tests for Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform solutions within a public sector context. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape test scope, ensure quality and guide release readiness. You’ll build and integrate automation into Azure DevOps pipelines, driving faster feedback and lower risk. You will contribute to test strategy, standards and documentation while working primarily from home with occasional client-site travel in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to define test scope and quality expectations
  • Design, develop, maintain and execute automated and exploratory tests across Dynamics 365, Power Pages, and Azure-integrated solutions
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and test suites using Selenium, Playwright, Spec Flow with C#
  • Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quality gates
  • Investigate test failures, manage defects, and communicate quality risks and release readiness
  • Contribute to test strategy, engineering standards, and maintenance of test documentation
Key requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
  • Proven experience in Agile delivery environments
  • Hands-on test automation with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar in C#
  • Knowledge of BDD practices and Spec Flow or Cucumber
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites for enterprise applications (Dynamics 365, CRM, or portal solutions)
  • Solid test design and execution across functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for test management, source control, CI/CD, reporting, and defect tracking
  • Ability to derive test scenarios from requirements and manage data, environments, dependencies, and defects
