Security Architect

Salary: CAD $120,000–$140,000 per year

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Canada

About the Role

We are looking for a Security Architecture professional with strong expertise in cloud security across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , along with application security controls and secure access management.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Zero Trust architectures , managing identity and access controls, using Microsoft Defender analytics, and strengthening application security through industry-standard controls and best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Cloud Security Architecture

• Manage and strengthen security across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
• Implement and support Zero Trust architectures .
• Apply Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure access management.
• Use Microsoft Defender and advanced analytics to support security monitoring and threat detection.
• Implement comprehensive logging and secure log transmission using TLS and Syslog .
• Support secure cloud architecture and access-control practices.

2. Application Security Controls

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of application security controls .
• Apply industry-standard security controls and best practices to secure applications.
• Help strengthen application security and reduce security risks.
