Overview

As Security Architect in Colt's Security and Resilience team, you will define and drive the end-to-end security architecture for networks, platforms and components. You will collaborate with security and engineering peers to align targets with Colt’s tech landscape, shaping secure product introductions and compliance programs. You’ll translate research into actionable strategy, engage with vendors, customers and industry bodies, and lead transformational initiatives. This role offers a chance to influence wide-scale security outcomes and work with cross-functional teams to enable Colt’s digital ambitions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver and maintain the end-to-end security domain architecture
  • Align architecture with Colt's technology landscape across teams
  • Consult on security aspects for new products and compliance projects
  • Ensure network compliance with TSA, DORA, ISO27001 and related standards
  • Translate research into actionable data and management-facing memos
  • Support strategic initiatives and wide-scale projects with business units
  • Assist product engineering with security strategy and developments
  • Represent Colt in industry bodies and forums
  • Conduct capability mapping exercises
  • Ensure Secure by Design in new implementations and changes
  • Coordinate Hackathons and security awareness programs
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of information security experience in large-scale enterprises or telecoms
  • 5+ years experience with cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and M365 E5 security
  • Ability to translate technical security concepts into business language
  • Experience conducting risk assessments with recognized methodologies
  • Engineering degree or equivalent (or pure work experience)
  • Understanding of SDN and NFV
  • Knowledge of network and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, NAC, MDM)
  • Basic UNIX and Windows/Active Directory experience
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead small teams of architects/engineers
  • Good communication with C-level, customers and vendors
