Overview

As a member of the Security and Architecture Design team, you will help deliver cryptographic solutions for internal BT users and potentially enterprise customers. You will develop PKI and cryptography expertise and apply it to design and implement secure cryptographic services. You will configure, validate, and support cryptographic platform components, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable security. This role offers growth in cryptography, security design, and enterprise impact within a transforming business.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and support cryptographic platform devices across appliances, VMs, firmware, and software
  • Perform network health checks and validation activities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for deployed solutions until handed to Operational Teams
  • Utilize Linux for troubleshooting, scripting, and system checks
Key requirements
  • Background in mathematics or computer science (university or industry)
  • Basic understanding of PKI & crypto and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of network security
  • Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
