Security Operations Centre Guard

Use excellent focus and strong technology skills to monitor screens, identify threats, and support security operations in Sudbury, Ontario.

As a Surveillance Security Guard with GardaWorld, you will scan security systems and recognize suspicious activity before threats escalate. This full-time temporary position runs until December 31, 2026, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 08:00 to 16:30. Duties may span security operation centres, call centres, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses. You will document events, control access, patrol premises, and coordinate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Spot suspicious activity while monitoring multiple screens
• Write detailed reports about observed events and incidents
• Patrol premises on foot to support safety
• Work with law enforcement during emergencies

Requirements:

• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Valid security license and first aid certification
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
• Reliable vehicle for work-related use
