Security Professional - Event Security

Job Summary
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and property at Tact Tech Security Solutions. This role involves enforcing safety procedures, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and preventing illegal or inappropriate activity.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined, vigilant professional who demonstrates sound judgment, remains calm under pressure, and consistently upholds the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service in a dynamic security environment.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Safety Operations
Provide safety and security services according to site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other unsafe activities.
Check-in and verify all residents and/or guests attempting to gain property access.
Call residents to verify guest authorization when required.
Respond promptly to emergencies or security incidents in a professional and effective manner.
Customer Service
Deliver courteous and professional interactions with clients, guests, and employees.
Ensure a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare accurate and timely reports on incidents, irregularities, or unusual occurrences.
Maintain records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience).
A valid Security Guard D License.
A valid Florida driver’s license.
Ability to work weekends as required.
Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
Knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar public safety role.
Ability to operate surveillance equipment.
Strong report writing and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Ability to respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
Capacity to remain alert and attentive throughout assigned shifts.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules as required.
Ability to perform performance-related work as assigned, consistent with the physical, cognitive, and operational demands of the role.
