Selenium QA Tester C# Fintech- Edinburgh

In this role you will join a cross-functional Agile team to assure high-quality software in a leading fintech environment. You’ll contribute to both project-level quality and a broader QA community, driving best practices and tooling. You will shape testing strategy across functional, performance, and load testing, while educating peers on quality. This is a hands-on position with impact on product quality, efficiency, and the adoption of modern testing techniques. The opportunity is anchored in Tonbridge Wells or Edinburgh, with a focus on building robust, scalable data-driven solutions.

• Collaborate within an Agile team to shape test strategy and ensure delivery of quality software
• Contribute to the wider quality community by sharing ideas, tools, and techniques
• Perform functional, performance, and load testing to validate software quality
• Engage in exploratory testing, test charters, heuristics, and session-based testing
• Lead or participate in automation efforts at the right time and place
• Educate other engineering team members on QA practices and quality mindset
• Work with cross-functional teammates (BA, Implementation, developers, PM) to ensure quality across the product

• 2:1 Computing Science degree from an EU University
• demonstrable experience across functional, performance, and load testing
• ability to communicate effectively and educate others on QA practices
• continuous learning and engagement with QA communities (MoT, Modern Testing Principles)
• exploratory testing expertise and knowledge of testing charters, heuristics, and session-based testing
• strong understanding of when to apply test automation
