Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will lead BI design and governance for Children and Young People’s Services, focusing on SEND Reforms. You’ll enable self-service reporting and collaborate with IT, transformation teams, and partners to build data-sharing and intelligence products. You transform complex data into actionable insights to drive service improvement and outcomes. You will foster technical capability within the CYP Intelligence Hub through coaching and learning, shaping data-enabled decision-making across the directorate.

- Design, develop and govern BI solutions for SEND Reforms within CYP Services
- Promote a self-service reporting culture across the directorate
- Collaborate with IT, transformation teams and partner organisations on reporting infrastructure and data-sharing solutions
- Translate complex data into meaningful intelligence to drive service improvement and strategic planning
- Develop technical capability in the CYP Intelligence Hub via coaching and training
- Extensive BI, data analytics and performance reporting experience with Power BI, SQL and SSRS
- Ability to translate data into insights supporting strategic decision-making
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience designing and delivering technical training to build team capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement across services, partners and senior leadership
- Experience with Children and Young People’s data, information governance and complex performance frameworks
