Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to Canadian public accounting and/or international or cross-border taxation

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping
• Financial statement compilations
• T1, T2, T3, non-resident tax filings
• Special election filings (rollovers, CDA, etc.)
• Specialty Forms like 1134, 1135 and T106
• Client representation to CRA for notices, requests, audits
• Supporting team members with research and ad-hoc requests from clients
• Communication with clients to facilitate administration or relaying of conclusions.
• Supporting the team with review engagement procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• Pursuing CPA
