The company is looking for a strong Sr. Accountant to report to the public/private CPA Accounting Manager we placed a year and a half ago. The Senior Accountant will work on a variety of general accounting duties, and some financial planning and analysis.

Located near Midtown just blocks from Penn Station, this job is a hybrid position requiring ~2 days a week in the office. They offer top compensation, excellent benefits and unlimited career growth!

Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and performing month-end close procedures. This role will support the finance team activities and assist in supporting the financial reporting requirements and analysis of the company. xhqgsiq A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent attention to detail and thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting and 3+ years of relevant experience; Big 4 CPA or large public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
