About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Montréal-Est. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance , the Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting activities, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities.

This is a hands-on senior-level position suited for an accounting professional who is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform bank, investment, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for the VP of Finance
• Monitor and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
• Support year-end audits and tax filings
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and other professionals
• Participate in various accounting and financial projects as required

What We're Looking For

• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA designation or equivalent experience is an asset
• Strong full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience
• Experience with multiple entities and intercompany transactions
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information
